ADHUNA Continuing Professional Development
Programs (CPDs)

CPDs are the heart of Project ADHUNA, where healthcare providers are equipped with the latest knowledge and tools to ensure every delivery is safe and every newborn has a better start.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is not just another training program—it’s a catalyst for transformation in maternal and neonatal health. Designed specifically for medical practitioners and paramedics involved in pregnancy care, it enables improvement through training of providers, bringing in best practices and innovation, while leveraging FOGSI societies to advocate for women’s health.

CPDs are conducted in every district that ADHUNA works in – 29 districts in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Bihar.

What Makes ADHUNA’s CPD Model Unique?

  • Evidence-Based Content
Every CPD module is grounded in national guidelines and globally endorsed best practices, with technical validation by FOGSI and leading experts.
  • Tailored for Dual Audiences
    Separate modules are developed for:

This ensures content is relevant, role-specific, and actionable.
  • Blended Learning Approach
    • In-person trainings led by FOGSI master trainers
    • Self-paced online modules for flexibility and wider reach
    • Refresher sessions to reinforce sustainable practice change
  • Grounded in Adult Learning Principles
